How To Apply
The EPIS Programme is now closed for applications.
APPLICATIONS
P
lease send your initial enquiry to the EPIS Interim Programme Manager, Brian Baillie at brian.baillie@ed.ac.uk Your application should consist of the following three elements:
- A detailed c.v. of your academic and working life;
- A "wish list" of the facilities and equipment you would require the use of during your placement; and
- An outline project plan stating your objectives and how this would transform into your new business.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Having reviewed the proposal we aim to give you an indication within two weeks as to the suitability of your project.
At that point you may be asked to come in for a brief interview before we commence the matching process to establish a suitable academic base.
If a suitable host can be found and subsequent to you and the host agreeing a project plan, the EPIS Selection Panel will convene for the ultimate decision on your placement.
SELECTION PANEL
Five selection panels will be held during 2009. The cut-off date for applications to be considered will be four weeks prior to the next meeting date.
