Yann Seznec
Yann Seznec is a 25 year old Franco-American sound designer and musician living in Edinburgh, Scotland. He
holds degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Edinburgh, and has done freelance sound
design and music for three years. An accomplished performer and composer, his projects include sound design and music composition for museums, theater productions, movies,
and video games, as well as producing and engineering several albums and recording original electro-acoustic music.
He developed
the Wii Loop Machine entirely on his own using Max/MSP and open source software tools, and released it as a
standalone application on his website at theamazingrolo.net, where it generated much acclaim and attention
from online and print media. He has been interviewed by the Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Independent, and has spoken at conferences around the world about his work with the Wii. He is sole trader of
Lucky Frame Limited, which creates and distributes the commercial version of the Loop Machine 2.0.
