Spotlight turned on technology
SOME of the country's brightest young technology-based ventures will be put in the spotlight next month, at the largest annual Edinburgh Pre-Incubator Scheme (EPIS) Tech Expo.
The event at Edinburgh University will see 50 ventures attending, to highlight innovations from luminous mushrooms and glowing chemical kits to an intelligent e-commerce programme for City traders on the move.
Among the companies will also be Anabo, a house building system to design future urban living, and Lucky Frame Ltd, a company started up by Yann Seznec to market his creation, the Wii Loop Machine, which allows users to create original music using the Nintendo Wii.
The Tech Expo is due to be held at University of Edinburgh, South Hall Complex, Pollock Halls, on Thursday, July 10.
